Andry McCraigyn is the chief of security assigned to protect the heir to Merchant House Caladharas. He is a Andry is a gruff man...who has a special sense of discretion. He tries to do his job to the best of his ability, but he also knows when to look the other way. Especially when the 15 year old heir wants to go out on a date by himself. Andry McCraigyn is in his late thirties, and has been on the job for the last decade and a half...and he considers himself to be one of the best in the business. He isn't wrong either. |

Thorondor "Ian" Caladharas is the 15 year old heir to one of the first of the Merchant Houses. An intelligent, independent teenager; Ian has a tendency towards irreverence and and frustration. In all honesty, he doesn't care what his grandfather says he is heir to...he just wants to have a normal life. Or at least as normal a one as possible. His best friend is his chief bodyguard Andry. Ian has the tendency to think of Andry as his brother, and Andry has made it clear in the past to Ian that the feeling is mutual. (As my skills improved I made some revamps to this characters appearance. The top picture is how he is currently modelled. The bottom one is ow he was originally built. The current version is much, much closer to how I originally pictured him.

Marisa Delusarnan is the most recently inaugurated House leader. At 23 years old, she has only held the position of Taoiseach for 2 years. Her father, Marius founded the House from an independent consortium of bio/nanotech researchers and died in an automobile accident two years previously. |

Theresa Quinlan is Captain of the Guard for House Delusarnan...and the victim of a devils bargain. Suffering from a degenerative nerve disease, Theresa agreed to be part of an experimental trial and serve the House in exchange for a new type of "potential enhancement" that could arrest the course of her conditon. While her illness has been cured, she resents the circumstances she works under after having become the "special investigator" for Marius Delusarnan. There is a great deal of blood on her hands now...and she is looking for away to atone for many of the things she has done in service to the House. |

Thorongil Caladharas. "The First Mariner" comes by his nickname honestly. Thorongil was the original captain of the ships that found this land 7000 years ago. While the years have not touched him physically...they have made there mark in other ways. His adopted grandson has helped him adjust to the passage of time and over the last few years has helped to keep him grounded. Now he is preparing for his second marriage (to Jessica Tindal of House Tindal) and looking forward to a time he can retire...or at least take a leave of absence and let the younger generation run things for awhile.

Jessica Tindal is the new appointed head of House Tindal. Jessica is 33 years old and spent a number of years as a professional musician (Bard) before being chosen for leadership. | |

Illitock is the personal counselor to Jessica Tindal. Illitock is a member of an insectoid race called the Threllichock (at least as close as we can pronounce it). The Threllichock are the newest race to achieve full sentience and come from a society that was a communal hive. Approximately 7000 years ago, members of the race began to appear that were not members of the hive mind. More anomalies began to apear as the decades rolled on, and citizens like Illitock have begun to be fully integrated into House society. Several of them are now in highly placed positions through out House society. | |

is one of the security advisors to Thorongil
Caladharas. She serves as a coordinator and
scheduler for events and diplomatic missions.
This is her first major military mission. |

is one of the chief researchers who was involved
in the "Crystal One" project. These days he
serves as an advisor to the Taioseach and helps
interpret the data that "Crystal One" has sent

Vale was the chief architect of the "Hospitality
Accords" which helped prevent the continent
from erupting into civil
war. Before he became Taioseach (after the
assasination of most of his family) Marcus
was an Astronomer and Archivist on the "Crystal
One" project. |

This lady (who chooses to remain nameless) is a professional assassin who hails from the city of Kasimir. She does most of her work for private citizens since the end of the House Wars, where she was responsible for the deaths of a number of House personnel. The handle she is currently using is "Targeter" |

Urzog Alfarinn is one of the blacks trolls of the mountains north of Erech. The Tereg (as they call themselves) began travelling with the original merchant bands who arrived here millenia ago and were one of the founding parties involved in what became Merchant Houses. The Tereg are huge, tough and strong. While their eye sight is weak, they more than make up for it with their sense of smell and hearing (which is often good eneough to accurately shoot by). |

Glass is a Threllichock pilot and investigator for House Caladharas. His Threllichock name is unpronounceable to human kind: his human handle comes from his crystalline talons (A rare birth defect among his people, they are considered a mark of ill omen) |

Arthur is the chief pilot for Thorongil Caladharas. The grandson of an Essenian holy man, Arthur in his spare time is a student of old myths and legends dating back to the time of the first voyage. He also has the habit of travelling barefoot where ever he goes. Much to the consternation of his companions he never shows any discomfort by doing so. |

Miko is the biological sister of "Targeter". She is a quite, inquisitive woman who who tries to minimize the risks her sister has to take on a regular basis. While admirable of her, this sometimes translates into paralyzing caution. |

Siobhain is the business partner, lover and closest confidant of "Targeter". They've been together for the last 5 years, and hope to be together for a long time to come. Siobhain was a former member of House Monroe. | |

Moira Mebhe is Taioseach of the House of the same name. Originally based out of Amonson-Lancaster City, most of her House was wiped out in the nuclear incident that devastated the island. | |

Against his better judgement, he went along with his fathers wishes. Now, in the middle of a rebellion he is doing his best to figure out something else: What comes after. | |

Grey of the "Deep Scaled People". Grey was one of the explorers of his people who accidentally broke through the bottom of a Threllichock hive. As soon as he discovered that he had mistakenly invaded anothers domain, he pulled his explorers out and away. His quick thinking led the Threllichock to not attack his people as a "threat to the hive". Relations have been steadily improving ever since. | |
